The Duc des Lombards gives carte blanche to students studying for a DNSPM (Diploma of Higher National Education) in Amplified Contemporary Music as part of their “Nouvelle scène” program.

ON THE PROGRAM

Colin Cheritel/Lou Guenet quintet:

Four musicians from different backgrounds meet during an improvised session. They hit it off immediately. Let's form a band. Through jazz standards and original compositions, they explore, they tell stories, they have fun. Tonight, the wonderful Mona Faruel joins us on our journey into your ears.

Hugo Doppler “Quareo”

Built around a repertoire of original compositions, the “Quareo” project brings together five friends and musicians, all jazz students in Paris. They share a sound and textural exploration, between softness and intensity.

Stablemates 4tet

Inspired by iconic figures such as Pat Metheny and the Next Step Band, the musicians of Stablemates draw as much on lyricism as on complex harmonic progressions.

Stablemates combines the spontaneity of improvisation with a close-knit interaction, the result of several years of collaboration. Their music invites listeners on a journey through original compositions and reinterpretations of standards, offering a dialogue between tradition and innovation.
