Master class
Juliette Vocler gives a master class to students enrolled in the PSPBB's DNSPM Contemporary Music Creation program.
Juliette Volcler is a gardener, independent researcher, author, critic, and sound curator. She works on social criticism of sound, the history of sound creation, and the way these two fields intersect. She is the author of three essays published by La Découverte: Le son comme arme (Sound as a Weapon, 2011), Contrôle (Control, 2017), and L’orchestration du quotidien (The Orchestration of Everyday Life, 2022). She produces, alone or with others, radio creations and performances at the intersection of art and science. She develops the practice of critical listening.
