Master class
Lucie Prod’Homme gives a master class to students enrolled in the PSPBB’s DNSPM Contemporary Music Creation program.
Composer and adventurer of sound, Lucie Prod'homme explores sound from within, plays with its energy, probes the tiny vibrations of resonant matter, and encourages us to listen.
Whether she studies immobility or extreme agitation, silence or rustling, peacefulness or tumultuous effervescence, her concern remains the same: to induce an intense perceptive attitude by also composing the listener's hearing, urging them to lend an attentive and engaged ear.
Collaboration and exchange with other artists (musicians, visual artists, videographers, sculptors, dancers, writers, etc.) frequently lead her to new sound adventures that excite and stimulate her large, curious ears.
His catalog, consisting of acousmatic, mixed, and instrumental works, includes compositions for concerts, radio plays, music for applications (dance, installation, video), and scores for young performers.
Lucie Prod'homme is a professor of electroacoustic and instrumental composition at the Perpignan-Méditerranée Regional Conservatory, where she coordinates the Composition, Sound Creation, and Improvisation Department.
