Clara Serafini and Sylvère Lamotte perform a romantic duet.
Gagnés par la nuit is a sensitive portrait in which bodies are exposed and swept by a thousand and one emotions. A sublime pas de deux that reveals the full complexity of romantic love.
Inspired by Roland Barthes' Fragments of a Lover's Discourse, the piece revisits the codes of the great love duet, a tried and tested, almost ancestral form of dance. The two performers walk a tightrope between drama and lightness. Like true tightrope walkers, they do not know whether their steps bring them closer together or further apart.
