Alumni Danse : Louise Gandois présente "LaFRONDE"

To close this season of residencies at Pôle Pik, the DONA company invites you to discover LaFRONDE, an engaging, hard-hitting creation by Louise Gandois.

A favorite of Mourad Merzouki's at the Sobanova competition, LaFRONDE continues the reflection initiated in the short film of the same name, choreographed and directed by Louise Gandois in 2023. The piece explores human relationships and social norms through the prism of the female body. Performed by six dancers, the show is divided into three parts that trace a progression from personal affirmation to collective confrontation and alienation. The expressive, precise gestures dialogue with Bruno Bernard's original sound composition, giving rise to a choreographic language that is both intimate and committed. With this work in progress, the DONA company has created a powerful piece in which dance becomes a space for resistance and awareness.
