(DNSPC) Diploma in Acting
Class of 2024 (eligible for the Integration fund) with: Cheik Ahmed Thani, Idir Aitouche, Valentine Berthier, Melchior Burin des Roziers, Robin Condamin, Lise Dachary, Nicolas Ducourtieux, Manon Guilluy, Clément Mariage, Savério Moreau, Apolline Peccarisi, Elisa Pezeril, Marion Roussel, Clara Thibault.

The class of 2024 is the eighth that I have accompanied as director, from the entrance exam to their entry into the professional world, in a continuous questioning of the educational project I have put in place and in an affirmation of its principles. ESAD is a school resolutely focused on contemporary creation, cultivating links with new writing and the most innovative generations on stage.
The students who have chosen this school for its program become accomplished artists, bringing a critical eye to their artistic practice and to the world in which they will make their voices heard. The actors and actresses of this class of 2024 fully embody the credo of the actor-creator, which is supported by values as much as knowledge: curiosity, inventiveness, confidence, and the ability to take risks.
The actors and actresses of this class of 2024 fully embody the credo of the actor-creator, which is supported by values as much as knowledge: curiosity, inventiveness, confidence, openness, a sense of sharing, respect for others and for difference, humility, etc. They have shown exemplary solidarity during their three years together at the school and in their collective and individual adventures. The workshops led by Arnaud Churin, Vincent Dissez, Vanasay Khamphommala, and Pauline Haudepin brought the class together in their first year, while allowing them to assert their unique identities.
Public presentations of work directed by Brigitte Seth and Roser Montlló Guberna, Maurin Ollès, Matthieu Roy, Serge Tranvouez, and Jean D’Amérique in the second year brought additional awareness to the actor's work, born from confrontation with the audience.
The third year is devoted to larger-scale projects:
- A collaboration with the UNATC in Bucharest resulted in a production directed by Eugen Jebeleanu and performed in Romania and Paris, at the Plateaux Sauvages;
- The carte blanche projects led by Robin Condamin and Savério Moreau with the entire class were warmly received by audiences at the Théâtre de la Cité internationale;
- A cross-disciplinary project was presented as part of the PSPBB festival with the school's other departments (music and dance);
- Finally, Elise Chatauret and Thomas Pondevie, who have been working with the group for two years, directed the final project, on the theme of the National Assembly, at the Théâtre de la Cité internationale.
The school is a springboard. It is up to the graduates to take the big leap into the profession. But they are leaving with a solid foundation, and I have confidence in their ability to make a long-term commitment and meet the demands of many stages.
Serge Tranvouez
