Presentations of Mathieu Capella's carte blanche from the 2026 PSPBB/ESAD class.
Saint-Cors™.
A private town owned by a beer brand.
Surrounded by a huge pine forest.
Paco, Sara, Linn and Nils are now only four since the disappearance of their fifth friend seven years earlier.
Strange, invisible and elusive beasts emerge.
As they try to understand them, through the seasons, the town and the sounds, the four of them will attempt to find the one they lost.
What is a trigger? What sets us in motion? What are the reasons or emotions that drive us to act, to change our present and to project ourselves towards a different future?
In this rewriting of Alain Damasio's science fiction novel Les Furtifs, through their quest for movement, four characters open up reflections on how to envisage the future of our bodies, our cities and our relationship with living beings in a different way, beyond the limits that the capitalist system has imposed on our lives and our imaginations.
‘Go and announce everywhere that human beings have not yet been captured.’
